I seriously woke up today and went ‘Mugshots” I had found my Hair Fair 2010 Groove lol. Not only were they fun to do, but I was cracking myself up everytime I added a new one to the group. I am even being tricky and according to some numerology site I found, I have swapped the letters of the store for their numbers, so it has that touch more authenticity to it.

Shag @ Hair Fair 2010

I was thrilled to see Shag at Hair Fair 2010.   Guys will love it as they made guy hair, which you can see blogged by Gasolinealex Serevi on YouStyleSL.   I’m doing three hair styles for girls, one being this great hat hair called These Things.  It features color-change hat, and band, and this cute low ponytail down the back.  Shag also made this thick braided pony called Let Me Kiss You with whisps escaping the braids.  It’s very casual, and very cute.  I love the hair they have set for charity called Breathe.  It’s a full big hair, a bit tousled.  It’s easily my favorite of their Hair Fair 2010 release, and I am in love with their chestnut shade now enough to wonder what color have I been wearing all this time from them.  Hair Fair 2010 is ongoing through September 19th.  To see what stores or get slurls to it , click here.   This year Hair Fair charity hair styles, and bandanas donations go to help pay for custom-made Wigs for Kids.

I chose Breathe with this dress I picked up from Gizza Creations.   This empire dress is full of color and movement, a bright happy dress to spend Labor Day in.  I’ve piled on the jewelry for a little tropical end of summer glitz, all of it from YS&YS, added more color with my makeup/skin from Chaisuki and grounded it with these summery Maitreya Gold  IXKin’s in cocoa.

The Witch Hunt is a grid-wide hunt.  And no, we’re not hunting witches.  That is soooooo 1692!  Instead, we’re trying to help our neighborhood witches find some magickal items and familiars they lost.  Good hunters will be rewarded with replicas of our witchs’ items, as well as fantastic new releases (which may or not be Halloweeny or witchy) by some of the most exciting and talented designers on the grid!

The Witch Hunt Merchant Rules:

1.) All designers’ shops must be free of intellectual property rights infringements.Merchants, IM Kat Alderson or Jacqueline Daniels by September 15th for an application!  Or fill out a notecard and get back to us right away!  Use this for the title:

2.) Once you have been accepted into the hunt, you will be provided with a poster for your shop.  The poster must be rezzed within 48 hours of acceptance and remain up until the hunt ends.

3.) Items in the hunt must be new releases – not recolors or retextures.

4.) Items must be exclusive to the hunt UNTIL THE HUNT ENDS.  After the hunt, they may be sold at the merchants’ discretion.

5.) Items must go into the containers provided by the hunt committee, and all rules regarding the containers must be followed.

6.) Items must be out by 6pm SLT on Sept 17 and remain out until 6am SLT on Sept 27.  If your item is not out at the appointed time, you will be cut.  NO Exceptions.

7.) Applications must be COMPLETE and received by Kat Alderson or Jacqueline Daniels no later than 6pm SLT on Sept 16.

REMEMBER: Your item doesn’t have to be Halloweeny or witchy, but it must be new!

I’ve watched the blogs and I’ve seen some really nice looks come from the fair, hopes to be able to make it before the benefit ends.

fri.day’s gift box includes not only three hair samples, but also a white cami, a teal hoodie (with hood up and hood down versions), and a nice pair of boot cut blue jeans. The shoes are Shiny Things Zimmy Flats in Faded Denim (I no longer have the SLURL).

The skin in both the picture above and the picture below is a promotional skin from &bean created to commemorate the fair, and it’s only $10L at &bean‘s shap.

Aamacci’s goodie bag included several colors of six different styles, three male and three female. Two of the male styles could also be worn by female avatars (see above). Blouse is a weekend dollarbie from Petunia.

Last night the girls – Ashia, Justice, Newdoll and I went by Designers United 4, the theme this time around is Narcissus. As Jussy said it is a perfect theme for a fashion event, and like all Designers United collaberations this is definitely an event.

While I was initially was going to just feature the hairstyles themselves, once I had put on Sasha, I knew exactly I had to blog this dress I had tucked away, it had been waiting for this hair.  I went for a soft look overall, sticking to Jaded Blond as a hair shade.  The Sasha has this lovely scarf/ribbon, which is color-changeable,  I went with chocolate and chose to use that tone to accessorize with.  It took 24 hours of seriously thinking about who and where this dress was.  I knew I wanted this dress but couldn’t recall who made it, and if I even owned it.  I began a long hunt trolling all the stores featuring sculpted clothing (really known for it), and saw this at Aoharu and remembered I bought them in packs during their big sale months ago.  When I first bought it I tucked it away until I found accessories for it, and finally now I have them.  I love the look of Sasha with it,  teamed up with a dream catcher bag also from Fri.day, and these awesome mary jane jumps from G. Field.  Thanks to Winter Jefferson, for remembering where I could find them.  I love the big thick strap on them, with the color changeable trim and buckle.  So retro, so now, and so chic.  I went with one simple set of bracelets from Zaara, in lieu of heavy amounts of jewelry I love to wear.  I would have loved to see this look with perhaps a ribbon choker, a broach, and charm bracelet.

We have a HUGE show coming up on Sunday the 12th Sept, which will be featuring an exclusive interview with a very special guest that will be announced on the 9th Sept on the Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe website. Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe, have an exclusive interview with this mystery guest who certainly been in the news lately. We are expecting (like the recent 22nd August show that Featured Keiko Takamura, The Emerald Team and Rose Borchovski), that the online and in-world viewing will be very large. The 22nd Aug show exceeded 22 thousand viewers, for one week, and its still being watched. Our TV show following the 22nd was also a huge increase on our usual weekly viewership, due to a large amount of viewers “discovering” Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe from watching the 22nd August show.

We are there for offering six ad spots on this show to be run during the live broadcast and then on the archive.

We are also offering a position for one Major Sponsor for the show. This sponsor will have the premium spot at the start of the show, with an endorsement by Paisley Beebe and a Sign on stage with product placement if appropriate.

The 12th Sept Show filmed live at Northpoint will be attended by Group invite only, to cut down on crowds and keep the Northpoint Sim stable. There will be  several overflow areas with TV screens set up around Second Life to accomodate the large crowds we anticipate for this show.
