IT’S TIME FOR PRIMETIME!! It is September, which means our next FPV is The Elimination Royale.  Plus we have some great action for you.  And of course a lot of talk about what happened on Friday’s EDGE during the United States Title match.  Perhaps tonight we will find out what went wrong.  So sit back and get ready for VWE PRIMETIME.

Our first match will be “The Ace” KingTed Alter taking on the debuting “Lost Messiah” Revenant Viper.  This will be the first time we see Revenant in action, so there is not much we know about him.  However he is going up against a very talented rookie in The Ace.  Let’s see what tricks The Ace has up his sleeve to win.  Or perhaps the Prophecy will predict a victory for Revenant

Our second match will be some Bombshell action.  Lee will be taking on Horses Morrisey.  Lee had made an impact since her return to the VWE.  She will be facing off against a Bombshell who is literally one beer short

Koinup now offering iPhone & iPad app with hundreds of Second Life wallpapers and artworks

Yesterday Milok Hermit, of Mother Goose’s, released several new skins for September and a group gift for the ladies. The new addition for guys this month  is Rudy, a freckly boyish skin. Milok also added special versions of these skins to her vast lucky board selection. All lucky board skins are no copy but are transferable, so you can swap them with others for ones you want! The LB version of Rudy has pimples, guys have bad skin days too.

A while back I wrote a blog post on my other blog that was inspired by a song by Second Life performer Strum Diesel called “It All Belongs” In a nutshell the song and that blog post are about how there is a place for everything musically.. I was tired of hearing people complain about whats live music and whats not.

Recently a friend of mine hired a musician to do a gig at her venue. I was with her when we discovered this musician in a music related sim on Secondlife we found the musician’s website, listened to some original tracks and loved what we heard. Yes I know people post their best recorded work on their websites and they usually sound a little bit different when they play live; but you can usually get a fairly good idea from listening to the recording weather or not you might want

In addition to the Awesome Blossom hunt item there will be a few new items out at the store including a potted plant, some painted sparrows and some texture change Autumn fallen leaves to decorate your porches, walkways or whatever with! A new series of regular posts on texturing, photoshop tutorials  and photographic techniques and effects.  Hopefully we will include a few guest writers and collaborate together to bring  together a set of useful resources for beginners and intermediates alike!  (If you would like to keep up to date with our latest posts you can subscribe to our rss feed)

To start with a Basic Guide to Texturing a sculpted prim.  When I first started in Second Life I had no idea what all the different tabs and windows did in build mode and spent many a hours playing with all the settings (which is still the best advice if you want to learn to build and create).
