Time to give some props to.. well.. some props!  

If you read my blog, you know I love location shots. But sometimes everyone has the same idea. I often TP to a place to find many AVs there taking photos. So on those day where the metaverse is just a bit too crowded,  I head off to my secret place. A little nook I have carved out for myself, complete with great props and other fun tools. It is important to always have a back-up plan!  

Big kudos to those that create photo sets, poseable furniture, and photo walls. These are just lifesavers!  These fashion worthy ”accessories”  allow for any user to create great looking photos in seconds. I am the least savvy when it comes to post-processing, so

Where have I been?

First, I will lay the blame of this post entirely on my current course of medication. This, along with other events, will partially explain my absence from my blog and life in general. As I am not one to whinge about personal matters, suffice it to say that my health has been in less than stellar condition of late and we shall simply leave it at that.

This project is a study of translations. I presented 25 artists within Second Life with a concept of creating art with these words in mind: Drowning. Melting. Polar bears. Arctic. Culpability. Corporate greed. Inevitability. Extinction.

I recently heard about a growing and slightly disturbing trend on the SL fashion feeds. It seems everyone and their mother is using cocks and pussies in their blog post photos and store ads!

I am shocked! The poor animals have absolutely no say in this practice. Can you imagine hundreds of innocent cocks and pussies forced to be under hot lights for hours on end while someone takes photographs? Do they even get food and water? A place to rest?

I am new to the whole bunny breeding game. And I am in it to mainly figure a few genetic rules that apply to the bunnies.

Right now, I am breeding a pair from a new starter basket. They are a Dutch Black and a Holland Lop BW.

I was pointed in the direction of an excellent recent blogpost by Emilly Orr which poses some interesting concepts about “they” and “we” companies. These terms are brought into the conversation from other sources, but basically a “we company” is all about customer service, focused on driving results for the consumer only and a “they company” has one focus, money.
Microsoft is the most regular example of a “they company” one which drives forward to make revenue, with less compulsion to satisfy its customers or produce a quality product. It’s said that Apple are a “we company” one which strives to keep the customer happy, bring the customer new products and innovations.

I traveled to Ukraine and Poland last summer with members of my family to visit places where our ancestors were rounded up, put on trains and sent to die in gas chambers creates by the Nazis for the express purpose of killing people like me. It was an experience I am still processing emotionally.

When we got our parcel on Harbour we were pretty focused on creating the space on the ground. I rezed a sky box so we could have a private place for ourselves but it was always meant as a temporary thing. Now that the build on the ground is in place I keep looking at the sky box and wanting something different. What? I have no idea but a box isn't it.

Adelaide Forest is a commercial-free open to the public sim built by the talented Jasper Ashley. It’s a beautiful lush forest in autumn color with some great opportunities for exploration, relaxing or even romance. You can read a book by a waterfall, have a picnic in the grass or meditate by the lake. For the romantically inclined there’s couples dance-balls and cuddle spots all over the forest. Really just an excellent spot to to hang out in.

There's no denying that an appreciation of nature can unite us all, and Zoo Neunkirchen offers Residents the opportunity to spend time within an environment where the stars of the show are the many amazing animals on display. Although most of the signage at the entrance is in German, it doesn't mean it cannot be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their mother tongue.

It's rare to see such well-formed and sculpted animals in Second Life. These wonderful beasts are often animated and they even react when you touch them. From fearsome lions and polar bears, to mellower chickens and livestock, there should be something here for everyone to enjoy.

It's the Academy Awards at Hallelujah Azul
It was Academy Awards night at Hallelujah, and the community and its guests celebrated in a grand style.  A black tie affair that was an evening of fashion, personality, and dancing. Everyone was absolutely dazzling, and, last night, Hallelujah's Town Square was the place to be and be seen. Indeed, there were a number of stars in attendence. It's these wonderful events that have made Hallelujah a very special community.

New Trails has a new blossom tree that is a "wha?"-inducing 2 prims, and it comes in three sizes and has optional blossom particles and a root rock and and still or moving shadows and etc. etc. it's one helluva bad-ass tree BUT!!!

The important bit is that for the next 48 hours there is a free birdie packaged with the tree!

The creators of Alpha Point, Masoon Ringo and Sweetlemon Jewell, say the sim is still under construction. I found plenty to see and will certainly go back to see this dark, mysterious art build again.

My good friend Nicci turned me onto this sim and its fabulous , if you have not been you really should grab this  ride **THE MOTHER ROAD** .

Great spot for photos, you can rez as well and ride/drive. The shops are filled with really awesome things too.

I love a challenge. And furnishing a Linden Home with only 117 prims to work with is certainly that, especially when you want it to be warm, classy, with as much features a rl house would have and as realistic as possible with everything shaded. But here it is, Dutchies Linden Home, 115 prims fully furnished so you can still whip out the poseballs in the couch and the bed, with a kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and even a bathroom section. That Coat
