Meandering through the clothing fair has been a treat this week.  For instance, having wandered into KWZ on the TOKYO sim I feel in love with this outfit that falls under the category of DO NOT NEED/MUST HAVE. So I had to have it.

Sascha Frangilli has outdone herself with this elegant gown.  Zuzu has glorious, emerald green blooms criss crossing the peek~a~boo bodice . traveling gracefully over one shoulder and leading down to the waistline of this beautiful creation from Sascha’s Designs.

[M2M] is a new store for me. I heard about it before but I never checked their store. Today when I was trying their stuff out, I was really surprised how a new designer could make great things like these! In my opinion they're doing really great, and I'm excited to see what they'll come up in the future. An 1882 Kimono Bustle Dress in China Red or “What would Asian Steampunk look like?”
I found this amazing, luxurious looking and very creative ensemble called “Daughter of Shanghai British Invasion 1882″ at the London Sim of the Clothing Fair going on this week. The designer Terry Lightfoot is owner of To-a-T Designs and creates Victorian and Steampunk Couture. For this Asian inspired Steampunk creation she took the narrow bustle style dress of the early 1880’s and combined it with Asian styling.


For the Clothing Fair Exclusive (Price of the dress: 600L$) the corset and collar were altered to a british flag inspired texture hence the name addition “British Invasion”.

I just love when new looks surprise me… 

Lately, I’ve been seeing tons of the same sort of things in terms of SL fashion. Now I am not a clothier, so I don’t knock anyone’s efforts to design clothing. But there are only so many mini-skirts, tees, and what not to buy. When my close friend and muse, Peter Stindberg, posted his most recent, terrific photo, I was inspired to pull out one of my newer latex acquisitions. Although my photo is not nearly so artistic as his, it does give me a great chance to talk about the fashion!

Both of our outfits (minus his jacket) are from Graves, one of the finest makers of latex clothing that I’ve encountered on the grid. Latex textures can be very tricky — but Graves does it right, and these look wonderfully realistic. The sets are also extremely wearable, with lots of layering options.
